The LTSA would have well and truly envied this car back in the 70's.

Campaigned and raced in Central Muscle Car by Shane Wigston, this car started out life as a 4 door HQ Holden sedan.

It then went on to win the HQ series several times with Shane behind the wheel.

Shane then stepped up into muscle cars and repowered the "dirty Q" with a small block 350 Chev, and pedalled it to a personal best of 66 seconds around Pukekohe Park Raceway on slicks.

Dave has since bought the HQ from Shane, and made a few minor adjustments including some new Wilwood front calipers and rotors, and a NZ V8 touring car cam, and will be racing the HQ through the 08/09 Season with Central Muscle Car.

Keep your eyes on this one, as its a very cool HQ.
